Washing and care
Wash the fitted sheet weekly in a washing machine using warm water. Washing it with towels or other linens helps maintain the silver’s shine. Use liquid laundry detergent, then dry on a low dryer setting or line dry. Regular warm-water washing removes sweat and natural skin oils from the silver and helps maintain its conductivity; washing will not harm the sheet and is beneficial for its care.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, whitening detergents, oxy-detergents, and detergents containing oils such as lavender or coconut oil. Do not use dryer-sheet fabric softeners. Bleach, lotions, and oils may tarnish the silver and make it non-conductive, while fabric softener can build up on the silver and impair its conductive properties. After applying lotion, wait one hour before using the grounding sheet.
