How it reduces line twist
Match the spooler rotor’s rotation to the direction in which the reel bail turns. The line should leave the filler spool in the same direction as the bail rotates. For example, when the bail turns counterclockwise, the line should also come off the spool counterclockwise. Matching these directions helps prevent twisting during spinning-reel setup.
