Designed for focused shockwave therapy, this device uses an electromagnetic coil to move a metal membrane rapidly and create a low-pressure acoustic pulse. An acoustic lens concentrates the pulse so it can reach deeper tissue with limited energy loss, supporting targeted treatment of bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments, as well as erectile dysfunction.
Therapy applications
Shockwave treatment may stimulate membrane diffusion, metabolism, neovascularization, blood and lymph circulation, nutrient delivery, and tissue regeneration. It may also support bone healing, reduce adhesions and muscle spasm, and decrease nerve excitability associated with pain.
- Shoulder: frozen shoulder and calcific rotator cuff tendonitis
- Upper limb: lateral epicondylitis, commonly called tennis elbow
- Lower limb: patellar tendinitis or jumper’s knee, medial tibial stress syndrome, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, and hamstring tendinitis
- Back: lumbar pain and chronic muscular pain
- Hip: greater trochanteric pain syndrome
- Feet: heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis
- Erectile dysfunction treatment
- Dysfunctions affecting the spinal column
Transmitter heads
Eleven transmitter heads provide coverage for deep tissue, sensitive or private areas, and spinal treatments. The available heads include:
- 8 mm head for acupuncture points and small finger joints
- 15 mm head for small muscle tissue
- 15 mm concave head for deeper structures
- 20 mm concave head for myofascial treatment
- 36 mm head, assembled in the handpiece, for large muscle tissue
- Flat head for erectile dysfunction treatment
- Cylinder-shaped head for erectile dysfunction treatment
Four additional heads extend treatment coverage along the spine. A U-shaped transmitter is intended for paravertebral muscles and dysfunctions throughout the spinal column, while a T-shaped head provides another option for targeted spinal-area treatment.
Comfort and operation
Soft tips can be fitted over the metal transmitters when working on highly sensitive areas, including cervical-spine muscle trigger points. Silicone rubber cases help protect the transmitters after use.
- Insert the handpiece connector into the power outlet, aligning the connector bump with the outlet notch.
- Attach the power cord and switch the device on.
